Solubility of several solvents and liquid (aromatic) hydrocarbons were calculated from inverse gas chromatography retention volumes on polybutadiene and low-density polyethylene. Several correlation equations based on the principle of corresponding states were developed,which are useful in estimating thermodynamic properties when only critical pressure and temperature are available. -- AATA
