Abstract
A re-assessment has shown that the formerly controversial human cranium from Punin, Ecuador, lies within the range of variation found in early Amerindian populations. Radiocarbon dating has placed the cranium firmly within the Holocene period, ca. 7000 B.P. -- AATA
