This paper reports the archaeological intervention developed for the partial rescue of the 10PM014 Conchal Piedra Azul National Monument archaeological site, located on Chamiza Bay in the Piedra Azul area, Municipality of Puerto Montt, X Region, Chile. This important site was discovered and partially destroyed while improvement works were being done on Route 7 - Carretera Austral. The actions and procedures performed in the site are described, together with the general outcome achieved thorugh the integration of archaeology and conservation techniques and procedures.
