In the absence of an index, the work is organized by broad types or application areas: e.g. , construction, fabric, flocking, packaging adhesives. Separate sections are devoted to hot-melts, pressure-sensitive adhesives, and sealants. The multiplicity of variations possible with adhesives is reflected at times in the somewhat confusing classification, based intermittently on binder type (e.g., hot-melt) and end-use (e.g., paper). Finding a specific adhesive for a specific requirement may thus take some time. It should be added that all formulations were submitted by their (USA) manufacturers; lists of both trade-marked raw materials and of the addresses of suppliers are appended. -- AATA
