The actual state of the art in artificial weathering and the use of different weathering and radiation devices are discussed on the basis of recent results. It is demonstrated that well defined weathering conditions should only be applied to different samples and model substances. Care has to be taken in testing numerous parameters simultaneously. -- AATA
