Abstract
This is a brief account of experiments in casting axe heads in 10% tin bronze by both the lost-wax process and by using two-part clay molds. The bronze was melted in a clay crucible using charcoal as a fuel. Draft was maintained by using bellows of primitive design. -- AATA
