Abstract
The seed blower is an instrument typically employed by seed technologists to sort seed types by density. Because of the labor intensive nature of hand separating flotation samples, the seed blower offers archaeologists a new apparatus that enchances the efficiency of initial separation. The blower is described, and initial results of its application to archaeological flotation samples from Louisiana are presented. -- AATA
