Abstract

Several of the MÃ¶ssbauer-active elements are also of electro-chemical importance, and this fact contributes to the use of MÃ¶ssbauer spectroscopy (MS) in the field of electrochemistry. The experiments concerning iron corrosion form an important field of electrochemistry and MS is a very efficient technique for such research. In this work our aim is to show the usefulness of MS in corrosion research by reviewing some of the characteristic publications.
