The transfer of a painting in mixed media with impasto on a rag board support adhered to linen with glue, is detailed. After facing, removal of the old support, and application of gesso and silk gauze to the reverse, the paint was attached to linen with wax-resin adhesive on the vacuum hot table. The linen was then marouflaged to a honeycomb panel with wax on the hot table under pressure.
