Abstract
Minor and trace elements were determined in 2 groups or potsherds excavated at the islands of Thasos and Delos in Greece. The matching in chemical composition between the stylistically related potteries of Thasos and Delos provides strong support for the archaeologist's hypothesis that the 2 groups of potsherds belong to the same major group of melian pottery.
