Abstract
Discusses the training of restorers in Nigeria. In Africa trained restorers are pioneers. Africa needs mostly object restorers, responsible for the object during field-work, in the workshop and in storage. They need good documentation and must be able to identify fakes. African restorers must be versatile, as generally they are the only restorers in their museum and often will lack necessary materials and equipment. See also 16-194. -- AATA
