Treatments of Tiahuanaco Tapestry fibers in aqueous and non-aqueous systems were carried out to determine their effect on fiber morphology and structure. Scanning electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction and amino acid analysis were used to document changes caused by these conservation treatments. This study includes colorfastness evaluation of naturally dyed wool samples. Standard visual evaluation and spectrophotometric and color difference measurements were made to assess colorfastness. -- AATA
