Forms of direct fabric evidence surviving from two aboriginal sites in Georgia were examined. The fabric forms include those which are still organic, retaining their original fiber composition, and those which are partially or completely replaced by mineral compounds. Results of chemical and physical analyses combined with technical fabrication analyses were accumulated and studied. -- AATA
