Abstract
Describes research which examined the influence of sulfur dioxide on marble under varying rh values. 3 series of experiments were carried out on the mabrle samples: 1) reflectance measurements; 2) IR spectroscopy of fresh and exposed samples; 3) hydrochloric acid wash of exposed samples and estimation of wash of sulphate content.
