Abstract
The impact and the increase in the value of 18 and 19 century glazed tile altarpieces, which are very common on the facades of buildings in small towns of the Spanish Mediterranean region, have undergone growing demand in recent decades. Missing pieces in such works have been replaced with materials of great hardiness given the conditions to which they are exposed. Indeed, the most used stuccos have been cement of plaster mortars, which include epoxy resin-based putties. The aim of this study was to assess the colorimetric changes undergone by two types of stucco, high hardiness dental plaster and epoxy resins with inert loads, in different accelerated aging scenarios such as HR, SO2 and UV irradiation.
