Abstract
A surface analytical technique, Auger electron microscopy, is used for the study of several physical-chemical aspects of archaeological artifacts, including a bronze arrowhead from the 6th century B.C. Chemical bonding in particular is reflected in the Auger spectrum of an element. -- AATA
