Abstract
The book discusses the manuscripts from central Mexico in the Bodleian Collection: Codices Bodley, Selden, Laud and the Selden roll. The history, stylistic qualities and content of these codices are discussed, as well as the material from which and the manner in which they were made. The first three mentioned are made from deerskin, while the Selden roll is a strip of amatl paper, the Mexican bark paper made from the inner bark of the wild fig tree. -- AATA
