Based on the analysis and statistical evaluation it is possible to state that the changes due to the duration of the hydrothermal treatment in comparison with those due to the increased temperature are more significant. The following parameters of optimalization have been investigated - absorption, compression strength parallel to the grain, bending strength and toughness. The results of the measurements were approximated and equations were formed.
