This article concerns three Polish coaches dated to the last ten years of the 17th century. The coaches had been fashioned into a pulpit. This article provides a brief history of the pulpit and the coaches of which it is made. The coaches could be reconstructed from the pulpit, but some decisions have to be made as to how to effect reconstruction of the missing parts, particularly the chassis. The author advocates a maximum program whereby the coach is restored to original condition using models from the era.
