Image stability tests are presented for Kodak Commercial Film 4127, Kodak Super-XX Pan Film 4142, and Kodak Professional Direct Duplicating Film, SO-015. A table contains the results, which indicate that all three films qualify as archival record films. The tests attempt to predict long-term image stability from short term results, and such extrapolation carries many uncertainties. Nonetheless, the ANSI standards, on which these films were judged, permit selection of films and storage conditions which should provide users with good images for longer than 100 years.
