Abstract
The method of mineral separation using heavy liquid (described by M. Girard et al. in 1969) has been applied to several archaeological sites, dated back to the Paleolithic and the Neolithic and Early Middle Ages. The method was compared with the acetolysation method described by K. Faegri and J. Iversen in 1964. In the case of mineral separation method the number of pollen increased many times. -- AATA
