Abstract
The data on the growth rates of sodium-cadmium formate crystal faces as a function of supersaturation in the range of 0.003<[delta]<0.0130 are presented and discussed. It was found that a compound growth mechanism involving volume diffusion controlled dislocation growth and mononuclear two-dimensional nucleation can explain the data.
