This work has been done to better understand the factors which affect the image stability of photographic products. Environmental effects are identified which must be controlled in order to avoid potential problems. This study provides information on procedures in processing, handling, and storage which, when followed, may assist photofinishers, professional laboratories, and others in their quest to produce and maintain quality images.
