In Rheinzabern, a Roman center for production of terra sigillata, a whole kiln was removed and transported to the museum. The kiln was covered by a foil and surrounded by a wooden box. The remaining space was filled with a polyurethane foam. After that, the kiln was separated from the ground and lifted for transportation. -- AATA
