Abstract
From a 12th-century foundry close to Bonn, 16 metal samples were analyzed quantitatively by atomic absorption spectrometry. There were three lead bronzes, three lead-tin bronzes, six brasses with low amounts of lead, and four brasses with varying amounts of lead and tin. -- AATA
