Abstract
Mural fragments were found on the walls of a small 11th century church which was brought to light during excavations on Visegrad Castle hill, near Sibrik, Hungary. A new technique for removal and transfer was devised, but only partially applied to the paintings because of technical difficulties. Photographs.
