Abstract
This pamphlet describes the analysis of copralites of prehistoric man. The analysis shows that the diet of prehistoric South Americans consisted primarily of field mice, cotton rats, and pack rats. Copralites have also been studied to determine the health of prehistoric cultures. This pamphlet also describes procedures used to identify copralites from other mammals' feces.
