The article deals with restoration of interiors belonging to Historically Evolved Monuments of architecture such as Chinese palace of Lomonosov and Kuskovo and Ostankino palaces in Moscow. The evolution of restoration methods including complex restoration of interiors are considered here. Modern tendency to recreate original make-up of interiors based on reconstruction of a monument without taking into account later historical and artistic features is ascertained.
