Abstract
The origin of large deviations obtained in the absolute measurements of <sup>63</sup>Ni activity is discussed. <sup>63</sup>Ni activity is measured using two different 4pibeta-gamma tracer methods with <sup>60</sup>Co tracer. Using the newly proposed S-C method <sup>63</sup>Ni activity is measured with the 4pi (LS) apparatus. Agreement of results obtained by these methods is better than 1.5 per thousand and the final value of the measured standard activity is subject to the total error of ± 2.8 per thousand (P = 99).
