A special exhibition which opened at the National Gallery in the first week of May includes seven important pictures by the Italian painter Domenichino which are the property of the Gallery and are being seen in this country for the first time. In this publication we give an account of how an araldite epoxy resin formulation, made by CIBA (A.R.L.) Ltd., was used in the restoration of these pictures.
