Abstract
Effects of an anionic surfactant, sodium polyacrylate, and protease on the detergency of artificially soiled fabrics were studied by means of the Scheffes Simplex Lattice Design. Maximum detergency was found on the lattice at low concentration of protease. Detergency was influenced by the interaction of surfactants with calcium ions. Protease was unaffected by soil type or calcium ions. -- AATA
