Includes six main sections and appendices. 1) Supports: paper and boards (for herbarium specimens, textile fragments, baskets, and bird skins); trays (for skeletal material, arrows, and insects); drawers; hangers; three-dimensional supports; (external supports, internal supports, taxidermy mounts); pallets; racks and frames shelving; and tubes. 2) Covers: object covers and shelving covers. 3) Containers: bags; folders, envelopes, and enclosures; boxes; subdividers vials; jars; and cases. 4) Environmental control: microenvironments and pest control. 5) Labels. 6) General guidelines, miscellaneous collections. Appendices include: glossary, conversion table, materials and supplies, suppliers, and manufacturers. Generously illustrated with figures and photographs. -- SCMRE
