Abstract
A note on the restoration of the wooden floors and reconstruction of the deteriorated ends of the supporting beams in the Palazzo Leopardi, Recanati, Italy. Epoxy resins were used with pieces of wood of the same species to line shrunken members and with steel bars, which were inserted into the wood. The beam ends were reconstructed using epoxy glues, with inert quartz as a filler.
