Restoration report of a wooden tempera icon (end of the 18th-beginning of the 19th century) dteriorated by a long exhibition, and by fire. The wooden support was badly deteriorated and the paint layer presented several lacunae (about 20% of the surface). The restoration process included: first consolidation of the panel, cleaning of the paint layer, consolidation of the support and of the paint layer with Covidez RLP, fillling of the lacunae and aesthetic reintegration of the filled surfaces, final varnishing of the piece. Advices for the maintenance of an adequate climatological environment (temperature between 3 and 18 degrees C, Rh between 50 and 65%) are given. -- ICCROM
