This report urges that we take seriously our responsibility to properly care for this museum's national collections which are largely irreplaceable, and which have world-wide significance. Contained in this report are goals and objectives to be achieved at both the departmental and directorate levels, as well as a preliminary listing of resources necessary to achieve these goals.
