Abstract
Mineral reactions, occurring during firing of bricks and tiles were investigated with a high temperature X-ray diffractometer attachment. This study demonstrates that the rate of temperature increase during firing of bricks and tiles is very critical in the range (750-950C) where most mineral reactions take place.
