Abstract
From several available microtechniques for infrared analysis, reflectance methods found to offer best results in the analysis and examination of art objects. Applications of specular reflectance and multiple internal reflectance (MIR) techniques for infrared spectrophotometric analysis and examinations and the results of such studies on a wide range of art objects are reported. Advantages and limitations of the methods are discussed.
