Abstract

The yellowing of white and pastel textiles can be traced in large part to oil-losses (lubricants) in machines used in the making-up process and also to the lubricating media in polyethylene films in packing cartons during storage. Steps to avoid such discoloration are suggested. See also AATA 19-1521 and 22-937 for related studies. -- AATA
