Abstract
There are three methods of cotton whitening: 1) potassium chloride, 2) sodium perborate, and 3) oxygenated water (only the third being used in cold water). These three methods are introduced and a chart is provided which explains the categories in which these methods will be tested. Results and commentaries are in Part Two. -- AATA
