Abstract
The author reviews the deterioration of paper as follows: the strength (folding endurance) of paper decreases on aging and increases with the increase of its pH. The decrease in strength of paper on aging is greater in higher humidity and in higher temperatures. Fading velocity of paper is least when the relative humidity is 20%.
