Abstract
A new fundamental parameter quantization method for energy dispersive x-ray analysis using isotope sources is presented. Very good correlation with wet chemical analysis is seen with both <sub>241</sub>Am and <sub>125</sub>I sources for ternary and quaternary brass alloys and chrome steel. Internal normalization makes surface analysis of odd shapes more accurate. -- AATA
