Abstract
A modified<sup>14</sup>C method is described for dating lime mortar samples from Stobi, an archaeo-logical site in Macedonian Yugoslavia. The technique separates nearly all of the aggregate fromthe mortar and then counts only the 1st fraction of CO<sub>2</sub> evolved during the acidification. The assay gives the age equivalent to the setting or hardening process. See <i>AATA 17-865. -- AATA
