Describes the causes of damage to rock art in the northern part of the Northern Territory of Australia which differs from that in other areas. A description of the area is given including its geology, Aboriginal sites and climate, followed by a detailed discussion of the causes of damage such as water, cytogamic growth, insects, vegetation, animals and humans.
