Building survey and analysis of Amiens cathedral, Somme district, France: the combination of a new measured plan (1987-1988), a detailed investigation of the building fabric and spaces, and a reexamination of the textual sources led to a revised building history and building transformation chronology and demonstrate also the inherent structural problems connected with revisions of the original plan.
