Abstract
Examination showed that a late gothic painting in the parish church of Biechowo (Poland) was painted over in 1632. The painter, Boguszewski, used it as the middle piece in a larger composition. This Baroque painting was restored by substituting a copy for the middle piece. The portrait of the Virgin was freed and restored separately. -- AATA
