Abstract
Compares Kodachrome 64 Professional; Agfachrome CT50 Professional; and Fujichrome 50 Professional films. Concludes that Kodachrome provides high contrast, brilliant color saturation and the best sharpness and grain of the three. Agfachrome has the lowest contrast and second best sharpness, general effect, subdued and realistic; overall, a greater warmth than Kodachrome or Fujichrome. Fujichrome with lower contrast and warmer color than Kodachrome, has good color saturation and very fine grain. Kodachrome is a nonsubstantive color film in which there are no dyes in the film; Agfa and Fuji are substantive-type films that contain dye couplers (Fujichrome-double structured-grain technology and Agfachrome-structured twin-crystal technology). These films are much better than older films of this type with the same speed. -- AATA
