The author enumerates the various activities in preparation for the celebration of the 750th anniversary of Berlin's founding. The theses presented on this theme are important as theoretical and methodological material for research into the regional history of the DDR. Readers are acquainted with projects for the preservation of monuments and exhibitions to be shown by museums.
