Fifty-one Greek, Roman and Renaissance marble busts from the Antiquarium of the Residenz in Munich were studied for their carbonand oxygen-isotopic composition. Apart from some overlapping values, this technique permits localization of different Turkish, Greek and Italian marble deposits. -- AATA
