Abstract
Shards of Jingdezhen copper-red glazes of the Ming and Quing Dynasties were analyzed by high-temperature x-ray diffraction. No phase transformation was observed in Ming Dynasty Yongle altar-red and Xuande altar-red glazes in Ming Dynasty during the heating to and soaking at 950° for 12 hours. Phase transformation was observed at ~ 920° in Quing Dynasty Yongzheng altar red glaze, and the diffraction peaks of anorthite appeared. -- AATA
