Abstract
Measures taken from buildings and other objects of Tiahuanaco were analyzed with respect to the parent unit of length. It was found to be 271.92 mm. 10/9th of this foot length is a foot length of 302, 11 mm. 303 mm are known in Japan as shaku, having a digit of 18. 94 mm. The digit of an Egyptian measure-rod of the XII dynasty is 18. 87 mm, the difference being 0.07 mm. (The ratio 10/9th is frequently used in Old China). -- AATA
